Who I am

I’m an introvert—always have been, always will be. It’s a big part of who I am. I’m also a husband, dad, animal lover, artist, engineer, and someone who loves to help others. Just by that list, you might already guess I lean toward introspection.

Growing up, I often felt out of place. Watching how other people interacted was like observing a world I didn’t fully understand. Big smiles, energetic conversations, hands waving around—it all seemed so natural to them, yet so foreign to me. I’d wondered, “Why do they act like that?” Over time, I realized people are wired differently. Not everyone expresses themselves the same way, especially in social settings. That realization was my first glimpse into the differences between introverted and extroverted personalities.

The truth is, we live in a world designed for extroverts, starting from a young age. Think about it: in elementary school, we’re asked to raise our hands, read aloud to the class, or present something for show-and-tell. By middle school, it’s group projects and tryouts for sports. In high school, it’s volunteer hours, part-time jobs, and attracting college admissions. All of these experiences seem to reward being vocal and outgoing people who want to be in the spotlight.

But what about those of us who prefer to stay quiet, work independently, and avoid the center of attention? Too often, we go unnoticed or underestimated.

That’s why I started The Quiet Edge, LLC. It’s a space designed for introverts to feel seen, valued, and equipped to succeed. There’s a misconception that introverts are “less than” compared to extroverts, but that’s simply not true. We’re not better or worse—we’re just different. And those differences come with incredible strengths.

My goal is to help introverts recognize and harness those strengths. You don’t have to change who you are to get the promotion, lead a team, or even speak confidently in front of a crowd. It’s about embracing who you are and leveraging what makes you unique.

At The Quiet Edge, you’ll find digital download resources, life and business coaching support, and a community where you’re welcomed, understood, and appreciated—just as you are.

I coach introverts to use their skills to succeed in their careers.
